Neighborhood Semantics: Intentionality and Possible Worlds
In Towards Non-Being (Oxford University Press, 2005), I gave a semantics for intentional operators, treating them, essentially, as modal operators with standard Kripke semantics. The semantics have to be tuned to allow for impossible worlds, the failure of logical omniscience, etc. In this talk, I will discuss how similar effects can be obtained with neighbourhood semantics, possibly in a better way.
